    classically boring, try "Purgatorio" and "Paradiso".  "Inferno" was readable, but the latter two just drone on and on.  Why anyone who has read them would want any part of the church is a mystery to me.

    On the other hand, my Dad was ... clueless.  He knew I liked Heinlein as a kid, and had read a few of the juveniles earlier, so he got me "Stranger in a strange land" as an 8th birthday present.  I guess he thought it would be like "Red Planet".

    I was in my 20's before he read it himself.

    I am not religious, and did NOT say I enjoyed sects.
