    In my avatar, the blue bars show how many want Reps who COMPROMISE; the aqua bars show who wants Reps who STAND FAST no matter what. (Left=Overall; Center=Democrats; Right=Republicans.) And there's the problem!

      Are you kidding me? A lot of them would rather vote for a moment of silence to remember Osama bin Laden than vote for another bailout.

      I'm sure there are a few waverers, but look what Boehner had to do just to get a debt limit increase approved. A large chunk of the GOP house caucus just will not play ball at all.

      The teabaggers are useful tools/fools to this end. If they put up any kind of further rebellion in the House, they will be toast in 2012.

      Of course, the Final Theft may or may not transpire before then. The few trial balloons were shot down pretty quick.

      It's not how many votes are cast, but counted.
