  •  You know, it's great to have Stiglitz and David+ (7+ / 0-)

would never say anything, but David Graeber is a very distinguished academic. It's absolutely amazing that he posts here. Also, to have him post on this topic is amazing. As he mentioned above, he wrote, Direct Action: An Ethnography and obviously, he's been involved from the very earliest days.

This is someone with as much knowledge of the horizontal forms of organization the OWS protesters have embraced as anyone - and not just knowledge of this movement, but also the nuances of how it relates to the anti-globalization movement as well as more recent movements in Europe as well as say Latin American experiments of horizontalism.

I, for one, would love to hear more about... well, almost anything he thinks is significant to the story. When I mentioned this started with the adbuster meeting, someone posted on my blog that it actually started with Bloombergville - I have no idea what this is and would love to know more. But, like I said, this is all amazing information from someone who has been involved with these movements for a very long time and has thought long and hard about direct action.

Again, Rescue Rangers please, please spotlight this diary  - everyone else, please rec the diary and follow David.
