He never was big on protests. In fact, was dismissive and dampening. Might scare away some advertisers, too.

If I am wrong, let it be shown. So far, where is a post, even, by him on this movement rocking the world?

He seems less vocal and amped up about more and better dems being the solution (failed). It seems avoidance and silence has replaced that for the time being.

Should a "progressive" Dem blog dwell in the safe zones of a lame party, or should it drive a lame party to break out? If it cant, should it break out?

You know--those emails you get. Formerly of Open Left, MyDD, the American Federation of Teachers, and academia. I live in DC, spent 16 years in Philly, and grew up in Syracuse.

Recently I complained about all the cute pieces slamming Republicans taking up FP space when  we could be seeing more important things covered.

How much convincing do we need to have that Republicans suck?

on the stupidyadayada GOP. However, I am not into emailing DK re how the blog shakes out. I dont heart the "more and better Dems" thrust of DK, which I guess takes away from aiming my energy at what this blog does. I dont invest in it. There are enough smart people behind it to figure out what needs to be done.

          Let their consciences guide them.

      •  Under the current system (0+ / 0-)

more and better democrats becomes More Well Paid and Better Funded Establishment Democrats. Hence, we've seen the failure of Markos' strategy. No offense to him, he built a great site, but I think that has been shown to be a bankrupt (no pun intended) strategy for the 99'ers.

The Universe is strange enough, you don't have to add hocus pocus
