    pledging, if elected, not to run for President during his first term in the Senate. Do you mean a data base for pledges like that?

      of fiction on Obama and that you don't have enough of a grasp of the English language to know he didn't pledge anything.

      He said he wouldn't run because he wouldn't have enough experience. He thought he had enough experience and the timimg was right so he ran.

        gave him enough experience? Let's be honest, he started running for President as soon as he arrived in DC after giving voters the clear impression that he would serve a term in the Senate before seeking higher office.

          You coud be right but so what? He is a retty good politican. It coud be that he attempted to defuse the talk at such a great moment for him which was after he won. That's different than saying it while running as a promise or a pledge.
