  •  Well, in fairness, I kind of raise an eyebrow (0+ / 0-)

at all of this anyway, because I'm looking at it (now) from an outsider's perspective and it really just seems like most sects spend their time complaining about everyone else and how they're "not christian" or "not as christian" and ... IDK, I just don't get why it should matter.  That's pretty much my entire problem with exclusionary religion.

I refuse to be an incubator.

at a historical fact? you might as well disbelieve in evolution while you're at it : / It's the same thing, to deny the institutional rejection by Christendom of several groups who deviate significantly from the baseline. There are other groups than LDS, as indicated in this diary that do not fit the criteria.

I'd appreciate examples of your generalization "it really just seems like most sects spend their time complaining about everyone else" if you don't mind.

Above Grecian mantles were chiseled these words... Know Thyself... Nothing in Excess... the pop philosophy of its day.
