      I kind of like the 8th and find myself whistling parts of it quite often.  But I'm not going to cover that one, probably, unless I get a volunteer to do it.  It's a great symphony.

      but the third, seventh, and ninth are the best in my view.  I might give the edge to the third, because it doesn't have any weak movements.  The ninth takes a bit too long to get to the buildup (but oh what a climax), and the seventh really has just the stand-out second movement.  I like the others, but the Eroica is consistent all the way thru.
