  •  Finding a CU (1+ / 0-)

Most Americans are eligible to join a CU. Ask  your family members if they belong to one - family relationships are often a good way to have access. Many CUs are community/location based even if they don't have the word community in their name.

Ask your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers if they belong to a CU and call those CUs and ask if you are eligible for membership. Calling and speaking to someone in member services is the only real way to know if you can join.

The CU I work at has many, many pathways to membership. Trust me - it's worth the effort.
