The one where I work has the best online features in the state, bar none, including banks. (Local "Readers Choice" awards to back that up, too) If bill-paying and transferring is important, shop around and find a credit union that puts a high priority on that type of service.

CU's that are affiliated with universities or high tech industries have a young and mobile demographic and often invest heavily in online/electronic banking.

...have checking accounts, money markets, CDs. It can be a pain to move all your online bill pay setups, but it will probably save you money.

Thanks.  There are several nearby so I will check them out.  You have won me over.

I love it when things work out. It took us a while, but we got there, didn't we?

Best of luck with the switch. I hope you find a credit union that can fit your requirements.
