  •  Oh Kitsap! Can you risk it now? (12+ / 0-)

I know this was a major concern for you in the past. If you're feeling well enough now to risk arrest, oh honey, I am so very, very, very happy. Please be careful. I've missed the cotton socks off of you! <3

Make sure that you write an attorney's name in pen on your arm in advance. That's what we used to advise everyone to do. You could even call the public defender's office in advance and explain your situation. Ditto the ACLU or whomever is handling bail (if anyone) for Seattle.

    Solidarity, Sister River!!!

So few of us here and just when the party is starting to get real.

    •  I need to call up my local Dem attorney (12+ / 0-)

Not that he's my attorney, but he is a local, a staunch Democrat, and our local Dems' secretary. I'll write his number on my arm unless there's a chosen attorney for people risking arrest.

The transplant team doesn't want me to do it but I reserve the right to do civil disobedience in a good cause if I feel it's necessary. That's why I had the shirt made and will try to keep my medication with me, in original labeled scrip bottles. Backup plan is for Charles to keep tabs on whether I'm allowed to take my transplant medication and make a major stink to local media if not.

Organ donors save multiple lives! A donor's kidney gave me my life back on 02/18/11; he lives on in me and in others. Please talk with your family about your wish to donate and sign up to give others the gift of life.
