...which only existed because the billionaire Koch brothers paid for all their organized events through one of their many political organizations to try to keep those who don't ever look beyond the surface from realizing they're being used as tools.  Yeah, that's totally similar to OWS.

    •  Or the fact that Occupy may have bigger goals... (2+ / 0-)

....like the dismemberment of neoliberalism and the construction of a more equitable form of capitalism?  I don't see any conservatives getting on board with a movement bent on destroying one of the fundamental tenets of their belief system.  Perhaps you're not really a conservative.  But that's OK.  Unlike your conservative buddies, we have no loyalty oaths here.  I think that goes for Occupy as well.

      •  I absolutely am a conservative, but not in the (0+ / 0-)

        of Revolutionary Tories.

Unlike the Rush Limbaughs of this world, I believe strongly in free markets, private property, and the right of citizens to make their way and find their success.

They (like many who call themselves progressives) believe in a modern day noble class, to be favored because it is there and free to exploit the less favored because they can.

You can see it every time they decry caps on damages caused by oil drilling.  Ahem, but those damages are being done to people with private property rights of their own, and a true free market system says you are liable for the damages you cause.

Unless, of course, you believe in a noble class unbound by such petty principles when dealing with the peasants.
