  •  Why Be Scared of Real Participator Democracy? (0+ / 0-)

The government has failed us, congress is bought and paid for, we can't trust government etc. etc.  To me that's scary.

Yes, it is very scary that we have lost any semblance of democracy in this country because our government has been bought by the corporations.

But, don't be afraid!  This Occupy Wall Street movement could bring a new form of democracy -- one in which the majority of people really can control their government and create a new economic system which will provide for the needs and aspirations of the majority rather than protect the profits of the corporations.

The Occupy Wall Street movement could be the beginning of the creation of a society that is good for human beings.  It is exhilarating, not something to be afraid of (unless you own a bank or big corporation).
