    I forget if he's still running against Hatch, but when PPP polled it, he was actually leading. That could be an outlier of sorts, and it's only by five points, but still, it's incredible that he's not down by 15.

      Chaffetz, we're still probably going to be down 2 seats in the Senate, and there's no way were're getting up to 60.  The relevant question it then seems is if a democrat could win his district in an open house race, beacuse if Matheson is safe, that's where he's most needed in the short term.

        I wouldn't necessarily say that we are definitely going to lose two seats in the Senate; it's just far too early for that.  Anyway, your question is good, but we won't know who might replace him, if it's anyone at all, until we get a sense of what the district might look like.
