  •  And Pete just keeps working against... (0+ / 0-)

...the interests of his own district even in the face of all this. It's time to organize, educate, and find a strong opponent who will force Sessions to defend his horrible record without resorting to code terms like "job creators" to describe the richest 1 percent (even though they may not create EVEN ONE job).

So far, Pete's ignoring us.  We have to get hime to laugh at us, then fight us, then LOSE!

      Thanks, as always, alaprst.

How come no one else, like the DCCC fer instance,  seems to care a fig about beating Pete?  He's the Chair of the GOP CCC, fer cryin' out loud!  What, not incentive enough to cut off one of the Republican leaders at the knees who raises funds and supports GOP Congressional candidates ?

      •  DCCC targeting of Taliban Pete... (0+ / 0-)

...is long overdue. It'd be interesting to see what areas will be in Taliban Pete's new district after the three-judge federal panel in San Antonio does its work.

      •  May I offer a suggestion (0+ / 0-)

In view of how Sessions has voted against the interests of his district (as shown by the poverty rate stat), I suggest we go into the parts of his district where unemployment and foreclosures have hit the hardest. Let's launch voter registration drives in these areas and help these folks (if necessary) get the needed state-issued IDs. And let's help further the efforts to undo the damage Republicans have done to participatory democracy by combining these efforts with effective challenges to Rick Perry's voter disenfranchisement law.

        •  Excellent strategy. Thanks for the idea. (0+ / 0-)

Unfotunately, I may have a lot more time to do this.  Underemployment strikes (me)!

Might as well do something constructive.
