    David Jarman had data on select Congressional district last week, and kindly summarized salient data for Tx-32:

    ... but in the meantime, I looked up TX-32 for you:

    2000 MHI was $45,725, 2007 MHI was $50,008, 2010 MHI was $49,919

    2000 PCI was $28,843, 2007 PCI was $34,282, 2010 PCI was $31,683

    2000 poverty was 12.5%, 2007 poverty was 15.9%, 2010 poverty was 19% (that 6.5% gain in poverty over the decade is much higher than average, ranking 31st in the nation, which puts it in the top 10% among all districts for poverty increase... that's certainly a good bullet point to pass along to your Rep.)
