    a bunch of absentee landlords to force down prices of the homes still occupied by owners.

    People with a lot of cash on hand are already snapping up houses for a song.  They get their middle man profits before putting them back on the market at higher prices...that fewer and fewer people can afford.

    Meanwhile, people who really want to own and live in a home are shut out of buying foreclosed homes because the banks will only listen to cash offers.

    Funny, isn't it, how none of the proposals floated by politicians ever puts money in the pockets of the regular folks who keep the whole system running, from the bus drivers to the firefighters.

    It's a middle-man economy, where the already rich get to slice off all the steaks, leaving the rest of us with skin and bones. And, then, they accuse the victims of failing to exercise personal responsibility.

    Once again, the predators are at the door.
