    first of all, who was the Dem who ran against Barton and didn't use that clip against him? Whoever it was, that person is either the biggest ass on Earth, or was in on the game. And if someone can show me that Barton's words were used against him, I will happily eat those words.

    Secondly, that kind of talk from any Republican is fair game for use in any race in any district. It's not just about one district. It's about keeping control of the House out of the hands of the party Barton and his friends belong to. His apology to BP should have run 24/7 in every district, followed by an announcer reminding voters that a vote for their local Republican is a vote for the party of Joe Barton. Every Republican in every race should have had Joe Barton thrown in their face and forced to disown or endorse him.

    No one cares what some random representative says.
    You really think that's true? Fine. In that case, please get in your time machine and go back to last summer to tell the entire media that whatever Anthony Weiner tweeted is just as unimportant as Joe Barton apologizing to BP.
