    The only thing really wrong with public higher education, cost-wise, is that the economy isn't offering the jobs/salaries that make it reasonable to pay back what students pay, outright or in loans.  I don't see how that's the fault of public higher education.  And I'm tired of reading cranky-con nonsense by progressives about how public universities are too opulent in having nice facilities or support staff that, you know, permit professors to do actual professor stuff.

    But nobody's buying flowers from the flower lady.
