    Getting policies passed that help minority constituents is much more important than packing them into minority represented districts.  The CBC view is very shortsighted, IMO.

        they only have one member in the delegation now as it stands. To get another one you'd have to make a gerrymandered district that would probably not stand up in court. And I would totally take 2 Dems who vote against voter ID, for section 5 renewal, etc and 2 Republicans who vote against that, instead of 1 Dem and 3 Reps.
