    finale that he was really conducting what the music was, including entrances, contrasts, dynamics, and all the excitement inherent in the music.  And he was having so much fun!

    It's one of the Opus 18 quartets, first movement I'm pretty sure, but I don't remember which number.

    Even at 3 he really had some good baton technique.

    I do have one complaint about this diary - the transition between the movements really needs to be heard as a whole, moving into the finale - the atmospheric tension is like the air before a thunderstorm, and can still make the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

    When shit happens, you get fertilized.
