  •  Occupy the Supreme Court (4+ / 0-)

I understand that the SCOTUS has dictatorial power but even if they say something is the law that doesn't mean that it is justice.

Fuck the Supreme Court, which illegally continued its reactionary majority through the Bush v Gore decision. Fuck Roberts, Scalia, Alito, Kennedy and "Uncle" Thomas, who only got on the court because he was the youngest person that Papa Doc Bush could get appointed to the court. The Greedy Old Party knows that with a lifetime appointment you hold power longer with a young dude.
Also, fuck the rotting corpse of Bill Rehnquist which is burning in hell if there is such a place!

That is how much respect the SCOTUS deserves...

It is certainly appropriate to feel the SCOTUS decisions on time, place, and manner are overly restrictive on the rights of protesters and the right of assembly. However, local governments and law enforcement agencies are going to follow those SCOTUS decisions and arrest people who violate local laws regarding over night stays, curfews, or occupying city streets without the required permits. OWS participants should expect to be arrested if they are violating any local laws.

I don't deny that it exists. I still feel it appropriate to use what is left of my First Amendment freedom to express my disdain for their power.

they go along.  New restrictive laws are now being discussed as a solution to this whole protesting thing.  They are also enforcing laws that haven't been enforced for a century or more.  That's selective law enforcement.
Too bad for the 1%, the cops aren't rich people either.
