    So someone doesn't pander, but they still propose harmful and terrible policies.  Why credit them, just because they always propose harmful and terrible policies?

    If anything, that should be worse.  At this point, we know that Ron Paul is working to deliver on terrible policies because he genuinely believes in terrible policies.  Someone who merely panders, on the other hand, can be swayed by public opinion.

      They can still sometimes contribute.
