      Is that the tea-party and the OWS movements are largely borne from the same anger.

      The tea-party is angry about an out of control government made up of the elites. The OWS movement is angry about out of control corporations/1% made up of the elites.

      The corporate faction of the GOP successfully co-opted the tea-party movement to stay angry at the government.

      The government (particularly left) is working very hard to keep OWS angry at the corporations/1%.

      What the combined elites fear more than anything is a realization by the tea-party and the OWS movement that the whole establishment, the incestuous relationship between corportations, government, and the 1% in both sectors that is largely responsible for the condition we find america in now.

      Certainly the tea-party and the OWS movement disagree about the goals/policies that will fix the problems, but as long as the elites can drive the wedge between them, the longer they can keep everyone from realizing that we are all getting fucked and by all the same people.
