whoever organized it on a Sat. must be spoiled with banks that are open on Sat.  Hard to find that among banks OR credit unions.

Every bank and CU around here that I can think of is open on Saturday, usually until 1 or 2 p.m.

About 20 years ago when I was in NE Arkansas, the bank in my town kept the old "bankers' hours." They opened at 9 a.m. and closed promptly at 3 p.m. Made it very hard to get any business done, as you'd almost have to take time off work to go cash a check unless you could get there during a lunchbreak.

here in thrus open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 5, branches open at 9 a.m.  Friday hours are extended until 6:00 p.m.

There are a couple of CUs, with very limited membership, that are open on Sat.
