  •  Tea Party Strike! (0+ / 0-)

Now I know I missed this last week... (I was spending time with the family!!!)

But this is such a great idea! Why didn't they think of this before!!!

I just caught wind of this story and I have to say that they are on to something!
Tea Party Nation calls for boycott of job hiring

But why stop there? Why not take the fight to every business in America! All the Tea Party has to do is tell all of it's loval members to... QUIT YOUR JOBS!!

That's right... just tell your boss that you are NOT working until the Democrats are out of office. Out of the White House, out of the Senate, even those still left in the House pack up and go home.

Imagine the message this will send to America. They will have to find people "somewhere" that can replace them. That should take all of about...  two minutes.

    •  Actually the people should strike (0+ / 0-)

There are more of the 99% than tea partiers.  Your time has come and gone.  You started out for the right reasons (to protest Wall St bailout) and ended up hijacked by the Koch bros and those hypnotized by the craziness of Ann Rand (or however she spelled her name)

The truth is, the money flowing constantly upward is never going to trickle down.  As long as the top corporations can make people work for slave labor and keep the profits we will continue to sprial downwards and backwards into a serf-like economy.

Ever read about the dark ages?  That is not the only parallel.  Look at how they want to drag freedom and knowledge and science backwards as well. (workers rights, women's rights, evolution, climate change)

We are at a tipping point.   As they take away voting rights and amass more and more power to the corporations (Citizens United) our chance of turning this around through peaceful democracy diminishes.

Do your homework, read a little history, you do NOT want to live in the corporate state that existed during the gilded age.

Don't believe the propaganda about Unions being thugs and corporations people.  unions ARE made up of people, corporations are a legal entity on a piece of paper.  The people behind the ones trying to destroy this world are greedy, evil and do not care how many people DIE so that they can make even more.

I know this probably has not deprogrammed you, but I had to try.  TOO much is at stake.

      •  um.. it was a snark. nt (0+ / 0-)
