  •  I just chipped in $20 (4.00)
I love your energy and enthusiasm, and the concept of "open source" journalism is fantastic. I'm wondering whether you have any plans to eventually expand this beyond the Web, i.e. to any kind of print or broadcast distribution?
    •  We have plans (4.00)
We have plans that not only encompass moving beyond the Gannon story but also moving the distribution of ePluribus Media stories into print and broadcast.

We have plans/dreams of producing podcasts and other media in the future.  It's part of the great new reality that things that required thousands of dollars in investment and lots of trained personnel in the past, can now be done quite cheaply by ordinary people.  Our vision would not have been possible 20 years ago without a massive corporation to support it.

But right now we are focused on getting off the ground.

We are developing the public face of ePluribus Media where people outside of the blogosphere (and inside it too!) will be able to read the stories of our investigations and we are developing the tools that will help citizen journalists to do their jobs.

But ePluribus Media is not just about software solutions, but also harnessing people power.

So as Brian said, if you are interested in helping us out, contact him.
