    You're one of the people who wrongly believe trans people have any protection in Mass. They don't.

    In fact, HB 502 will likely go nowhere, as it has done every single year since Gays were given such protections, and Trans people were deliberately excluded.

    Partly because people like you can't comprehend that Trans people aren't protected.

    In fact, no state that didn't already have Trans protections before allowing marriage equality has ever passed them afterwards. Not once. Victory for GLBT is declared and everyone goes home.

    As in Mass. and NH and NY. The day that the NH senate voted by the narrowest of margins in favour of marriage equality, they voted unanimously against giving Trans people the same human rights as gays. It was part of the deal, the price that had to be paid.

    It had to be unanimous so that it couldn't be considered again before the GOP won control of the senate. That was the deal.
