    I find it a profound way to introduce the topic.  I liken it to conversations about Global Warming; we can't segregate what's happening on our continent from the effect on the entire world.

    Subjugation of women in all it's overt and covert methods affects all women, everywhere.

    Much of the time it is easier for women to understand this than men - that's one of the reasons so much of this disparity exists..
