  •  Whatever happened... (7+ / 0-)

to the Republican rule that all proposed legislation had to be accompanied by a statement specifically citing the Constitutional authority for the legislation?

when a Democrat wants to get something on the agenda.  It then has to be approved by a 2/3 majority of repubs before it can even be considered for possible inclusion on the docket to be denounced as a threat to freedom and repubocrisy (since even democracy reminds people of the Democratic party and therefore is a dirty word).  After which, the motion to denounce it as an atrocity against the Constitution will be passed with a simple voice vote where if they hear a voice, it passes.

Correspondingly (is that even a word?), any repub item is immediately added to the docket for immediate passage, followed by the standard "Why does the Democrat party hate America?" rider being attached.

I support the troops! I want them to return home in something besides caskets and body bags. (-6.5,-4.1)
