  •  Any voter registration at OWS? New candidates? (0+ / 0-)

I hope to God that somebody is running voter registration at every Occupy site, and that they're doing a booming business. Otherwise all this sound and fury will come to signify nothing.

Perhaps the Occupy movement will spawn some new candidates to take on the GOP and primary the Blue Dogs. I really, really hope so.

    •  Although that would be great (0+ / 0-)

... I don't think electoral politics is the focus of OWS. It exists to force both parties to address the radical imbalances of the present. Its mere presence, persistence and power has already changed the conversation pretty significantly.

Winning elections is great, but building movements is better.

      •  "Force?" "Conversation?" (0+ / 0-)

Conversation is the beginning. But force = votes. So if the conversation doesn't lead to votes, it's just talk.
