I sent a copy of your diary along with my letter to
    Drs. Biggs and Richwine
    Heritage Foundation
    214 Massachusetts Avenue
    Washington, DC  20002.

You wrote the perfect diary and I thought they should see it.

I mentioned that I was in Norfolk, Virginia in 1958-1959 when the white public schools were closed to prevent integration.  I view the "charter" school and "private" school movements as an extension of the "Christian" schools movement that still exists.

I will hold my letter today if you prefer I do not mail it.

upon more reasoned thought I decided I should not send your diary with my letter because my thoughts are too extreme.  Your letter is perfect, but frankly I don't think they care about your wonderful letter.  They will not care about mine either, but I will point out the exclusive quality of their charter and private schools plus of course their non-union profit profile that the Heritage Foundation supports.

Dr. Biggs and Richwine are experiencing "uncompromising assults" due to their article.  Poor babies.  Guess I need to assult them some more.
