  •  They've been carrying a list of about 15 demands (2+ / 0-)

in their forums for quite some time.  I don't think they've publicized them greatly because they don't want to yet and they're still a work in progress.

    •  well perhaps you can link or publish them? (1+ / 0-)

the same or similar lists on the OWS website and the Stop the Machine October2011 website.  Pretty the same 15 to 20 demands.  Many are trying to whittle it down to one or two strictly related to Wall St and money in politics.

        •  Yes (0+ / 0-)

That list is well known. Its the Declaration Working Group's product. However, it is not sanctioned by the NYCGA and the NYCGA has distanced itself from it. Even the Working Group admits to it at the header of your link.

OWS has not come up with a list of demands.

That said, the proposed list by the un-sanctioned working group is an excellent list that Democrats should have no trouble embracing.

            •  Stop your insults and personal attacks please (0+ / 0-)

If you can't defend your diary in a civil way, you should probably avoid writing one. Btw, work on your linking skills, your link goes straight back to your diary.

              •  Bingo! (0+ / 0-)

BTW,  you must  have a reading/link clicking challenge.

The link in question is central to my diary, IS in the diary,  which apparently you did not have time to read.

                Go back and try again.

If you can't comment in an honest and civil way because you disagree with a diarist's take on the President and Party, seek to impugn bogus motives that you either made or   heard from the voices in your head, then you should probably avoid commenting.

Please don't feign that this is personal.

                •  an honest and civil way? (0+ / 0-)

point to a single dishonest or uncivil comment I've made. You won't find one. On the other hand, judging from the coments of others in this diary, at least a few have found you to be less than forthright in your intentions and your own comments demonstrate your willingness to go off th rails in attacking posters for simple disagreement with you. The record speaks for itself.

          •  I never said OWS had demands, I simply inferred (1+ / 0-)

that eventually there will be demands, which remains to be seen.   But evidently you had a point to make.

            •  Perhaps I misunderstood you when you said (1+ / 0-)

I don't see OWS supporting any party or
candidates unless they've agreed to OWS goals and demands.  And that's not very likely for the two major parties. The demands are major and require system changes.
              •  OK, you got me there. I suppose I wasn't clear (1+ / 0-)

originally.  As you, I've seen these demands floating around, they're up for voting at various places including here in Portland, OR where I am.   I've actually seen them floating around since June.  What I meant was I see some sort of demands and goals, which will come from these preliminary lists, will be put forth eventually.  At least in my mind they'd have to.  And if that becomes the case, then I would think the demands may become tied to voting.
So ya, there are no demands.
                (and good luck with that).
