    He sees taking down Cain as the one way he can improve his fortunes and grab the Anyone But Romney vote. And apparently one of the folks who witnessed at least one of the incidents of sexual harassment is on the Perry staff. The problem is most of the Republican base doesn't see what Cain did as a problem; they're either from the "Mad Men" era where men were men and women were playthings, or they wish they'd been around in that era and would do anything to bring it back.

      with the Koch's for the sake of screwing with them, maybe.  Taking away their hired hand stalking horse.  Thing about that is, I seem to recall that Rove and Perry aren't particularly good buddies, but I imagine that could have just been planted in the media.

        investing in solely just one company or stock. I'm sure that more than Cain is on their payroll; Hermie's just the one stupid enough to admit so openly. Maybe they realize they've created a Frankenstein monster, and they're doing all they can to reverse the process before it totally gets away from them.
