with my mother because of that kind of stuff. I carry a lot of baggage where colorism is concerned.

I was wondering how Ali could have been involved with the NOI back then and talked about Frazier like that. But when I picture them, all I see is yellow people, men mostly.

saying that the reason this man was chosen by invisible space gawd was because of his ability to pass or buffer or something. 'Kay. What if I don't believe in gods at all? This just looks like light skinned privilege to me. Just sayin'. lol

I went to see Farrakhan at Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio in about 1996 or 1997? I was standing in line and I swear some black lady looked at me and said to someone else, "What is she doing here?" and she made a face at me and turned up her nose. She didn't know what I was but I knew this org. was always led by the yellowest people I've ever seen and I just started lmao and I couldn't stop for a minute.

hair and my grandmother's body and face that confuses people. My gma had the same flat face and nobody ever thought she was an Asian person or whatever. Being short and all that doesn't help but it depends on what I wear that shows or hides the African parts. That day at Farrakhan, I had on a really long and flowing dress that hid everything.

And yeah, I'm guessing that's why the Lord or Allah or whomever makes favorable positions for the privileged instead of just fixing shit a different way. That's how you help the downtrodden, if you're God. You exalt the privileged ones to save them all. Something soooo familiar about that. Something about burdens and white men. I can't quite put my finger on it. ;-P
