    Edited version... was pretty good, until about halfway through.

    King can't write an ending worth a crap.  Just my opinion of course, but that's the problem I have with almost all his writing.  It starts VERY strong, but then it feels like he was just cranking out pages to get it done.

      I think thats why the shorter stories are better. Less filler that needs closing, and a clear/concise idea the leaves you thinking, instead of having all the gaps filled in for you

      probably helped that I read most of his books the summer I turned 13 so didnt quite have the same literary quality in mind. But Ive kept up with the new stuff and reread some of the old, and can totally appreciate his humbleness in success and contribution, and even revival of the horror novel genre.
