  •  They don't call him the "Hammer" (none)
    for nothing...

but he really aming for 2006. It a huge calculated risk, will the base rally around him the second time around, shielding him from investigation after investigation or will the party get fed up and shove him out?

Note to GWB, numbers don't lie, unless you lie about the numbers.

    •  Exactly (4.00)
This is one of the rare and notable times in recent memory when Bushco/GOP has played their hand so visibly so early.  In fact, I've been thinking lately that Bush's ability to feint political moves without making them is what makes it hard to build a strategy against him.
In this case the move is blantant and extremely risky.  Regardless of how fired up his base is, there are an awful lot of moderates and libertarians unhappy with this circus.  Now's the time to peel some off.
    •  Blame must be had (none)
Someone will have to take the fall for what is appears a huge miscalculation on the Repugs part.  Delay and Frisk lead the charge on this one and Delay already looks like a liability.  My guess is the party will abandon him at the earliest opportunity
