    It's a marketing conglomerate inclusive of PR, advertising, media buying, event marketing, and athletes and entertainer representative (agents).

    They own Burson Marsteller, which is one of the largest and most active PR firms in public affairs, but they're not the largest.

    There are four really big marketing conglomerates in the Fortune 500 - Omnicom, WPP, IPG, and Publicis.

    I do IT for one of the firms above (not WPP), so I know whereof I speak.
