    last night (I think...).  Damn!  Can't find a link...  She praised Iraq and Afghanistan vets as highly skilled and dedicated - and unemployed at twice the rate of others.  If I can find it online, I'll be back!

      for "twice the rate".  I don't know much about statistics, but I think my math is good enough for that? AND even 9% would be terrible enough.

      "real" work : a job where you wash your hands BEFORE you use the bathroom...

        right away.  :-(  Should have waited until I found it.  

        There should never be an unemployed veteran, unless by choice.  If we can't see to it that they have something worthwhile to come back to, we should never ask them to serve in the first place.
