    At least not in money terms, though perhaps in attitude. But we can't hold the brainwashing against them.

    To "qualify" for the 1% you have to be making more than $350,000 a year. Trust me, no one in a branch makes anywhere near that. At most they make around $250k at the top of the branch.

      I didn’t mean the manager was a 1%-er. I meant the institution she represented in her work. I should have written more precisely.

        It is quite possible the desperation we're seeing from bank managers is a result of the corporations holding them accountable for lost accounts/earnings.   They may do a great job, they may give their customers excellent service, but ultiminately they are probably penalized by the forseeable consequences of their company's bad reputation (even if it is deserved).

        So please, don't yell at the bank managers.  They're sitting between a rock and a hard place right now.

        Granted that doesn't excuse calling the cops on your customers, but that's another matter entirely.
