    I actually think he's right.   He doesn't ask questions because he thugs the gotcha aspect of short oral arguments stupid.  He hated it in practice and he doesn't see the value now.  The arguments are presented in briefing, and if you want to flesh it out it takes longer.  after all, how often do judges change views on oral argument? This, he declines to participate in what he finds to be a bit of a circus.  Wish I could find that interview.  In any event it isn't for lack of interest, though it sounds like he doesn't like the job all that much.

    Otherwise this business of corruption on the court is out of control

    Intelligent, passionate, perceptive people will always disagree, but we should not let that disagreement, however heartfelt, lead us to become deaf to those better angels of our nature.
