I bear no love for those who play God in order to judge their fellow man.
I merely posit that a "Supreme" Court Justice duly elected by popular vote and therefore subject to recall would be more responsive to The Will of The People than one appointed by a bad President for life...
Of course in a Republican State such as Oklahoma dominated by reactionaries one would know of many instances of 'rotten apples' sitting as "Justices", playing God and making numerous noxious and criminal decisions.

that's the problem. They're responsive to the guys who fund their elections. Just like any other politicians. It's been tried. and still is, around the country and it doesn't work.

It would cost millions for a national campaign for a Supreme Court justice so big oil would buy one, big pharma another and the banksters their own. Pretty soon we'd have a teabagger court.. oh wait... :).

America could have chosen to be the worlds doctor, or grocer. We choose instead to be her policeman. pity

They are responsive to the people who pay their wives and/or pay for their all-expenses-paid junkets, lavish dinners, private jets and other "social" activities.

But everything you have outlined is precisely what occurs at present!
I would hope constitutional scholars with finer minds (of the caliber as were possessed by the 'Founding Fathers') could prevail...   Possibly yourself?
