this is an excellent illustration that shoves the political conversation out of 'class warfare' and into the plutonomy dynamics of how wealth controls politics and elections.  And elements of this new and horrifying message is now getting through to the mainstream: I saw a headline story (with accompanying video) headlined "Why your vote for Congress may not matter" which is a whole different - and more relevant - topic than the other GOP talking points "they usually harp on such as "Unemployment at 9.6% - Yet Jobs Go Unfilled in (name your rural red state here)" giving the false impression that any unemployed American can go anywhere and get a job if they really WANT to.  Just like that amputee vet could hop on over to Metro and get a job as a bus driver (oh wait, missing leg, DAMN).  The message is breaking through, fraught with false Repub/Dem equivalencies of course, but nonetheless, it is a whole new conversation now.
