    end of the walk, she (or the woman accompanying her, it's not clear) said that they had asked for silence and "respect" during her exit. She also asserted that she "never felt trapped."  That made me think that the early message that he had described herself as "trapped in the building" might have been true or it might have been someone's wishful thinking.  It's quite possible that they in some way negotiated the silent exit.  In any case it makes the students look really good; and I'm proud them whatever it was that motivated that discipline. It certainly should give them a sense of their power -- that's what it gave me.
