Very little (abt. 2000). Big issue this recall. Workers at the local prison (for 750 inmates) have been BUZY collecting signatures from around the local rural area. Sometimes at the little public park. Become a BIG issues with state Repubs complaining. City police released an official press release with the legal opinion that although campaign signs cannot be displayed in the park, freedom of speech is still welcome.

show last week and explained why prison guards in particular need unions.  He was very clear about how it really effected their safety on the job. I forget the exact example he used, which is a shame because it was a good one.

cops not included? Is it because they want to privatize prisons?

Walker exempted those unions that endorsed him in 2010.  While he denies that it was a political decision, saying that it was because of "law enforcement concerns", his argument gets shattered by the fact that probation officers and prison guards were not exempted.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.

This is a 'divide and conquer' tactic. Done to eliminate solidarity often found among public sector workers. Kind of didn't work as evidenced in Madison w/PD and Firefighters marching together.

He also needs law enforcement to 'protect' him, and his agenda. The last version,as I understand it, the exemption is not extended to new hires.

Typical fascist move, however a lot of Wisconsinites are too smart for that.
