    "Customer" implies some sort of trade - money for services - and as we all know, trade is beneath the dignity of an aristocrat.  Taxpayer-funded bailouts are a step back to the good old days when feudal lords could just take what they wanted because as far as what passed for "law" in medieval Europe was concerned, it all belonged to them anyway.

    Use the eager whores in government to take our money so that they can keep gambling because that's what it's all for isn't it?

    You know, Burma doesn't even have banks: just high-security mattresses - literal warehouses where people in the community store bags of cash.
