  •  Red: IOKIYAR? (0+ / 0-)

Red is the color of blood, the color of roses, and the color of having had quite enough already. It's associated with emergency, danger, luck and victory. But, somehow it's only acceptable when Republicans wear it?

    •  Republicans associating with red (0+ / 0-)

is helpful to us.  Except in very non-aggressive contexts, it's a color of aggression and violence, and in political contexts tends to be popular with repugnant people.

...but I, of course, disagree with your characterization of red, which is also the color of love, seduction, persuasion, power, confidence and anger. It's not just color that affects the viewer, however. There's shape, typeface, texture, image and, obviously, the words.

But, hey, more mauve posters if that pleases you. Silkscreens are easy to make.
