    Jobless claims again are under 400k which bodes well for employment growth.

    Personal income grew at a healthy 0.4% monthly rate, although consumer spending growth for the month was somewhat anemic.  And finally, inflation still remains very low (hello Fed board, get your act together).

      The 3rd quarter had unusually high consumer spending given its slow reported income growth, possibly due to pent-up demand for cars following the disruption earlier in the year. The personal saving rate fell to a very low level relative to where it's been for most of the last few years, so the Oct income and consumption numbers represent a return to a saving rate more in line with the recent trend.
