I've got no problem with Bud Fields.  From other comments he seems like a decent new user...and he deleted his diary with a minimum of fuss.

Let's not let our problems with the FP roll over onto the new guy.

    •  Yes, he apologised (5+ / 0-)

      I posted his apology below.

      He just made a mistake.

    •  No, he shouldn't bear the brunt (5+ / 0-)

Especially since he was reprimanded, took his down, and now the very same subject (albeit with some alternate sourcing) sits out there on the FP. If i were he I'd be feeling kind of "virtually pepper sprayed".

      •  except the diarist did nothing for over an hour (4+ / 0-)

upon being told of the ban on Press TV.

        •  Was he responding to posts during that hour or (0+ / 0-)

....was in the library killing Colonel Mustard?

Not snark. what does a timeline show. Was he answerwing posts? online at elsewhere on the site? Elsewhere on the toobz under the pseudonym?

If he was, was he defending his diary for the entire hour?
Then we have a case against him. Absence maybe the strongest form of presence for James Joyce, but in the toobz, it can be an indication that life's demands trumped blogging.

And Scoop and the google can attest to forms of presence.

I want your criticism to be absolutely solid factually. So i say this to make you case air tight. That may be incompatible metaphors, because the absolutely solid admits no air. but I thing the point is valid.

I am on your side and on the side of the FP being held the highest standards starting with the standard to which they hold MSM and Fox, and which they find they always fail.

If no, principle of charity, here are times when diarists are nt
