      other option...all these options are false. If we taxed the 1% significantly more (actually we should tax the top 10% significantly more, and the top 20% somewhat more) and cut military spending by half over the next ten years, we could eliminate the deficit (which, by the way, is not the same as eliminating the debt).

      because my children and grandchildren are here NOW, so all the talk about what we have to do for someone else's hypothetical children and grandchildren rings false. When did their children and grandchildren become more worthy of food and healthcare than mine?
