Clearly, this Bill Looman is a hardcore birther, nationalist, violent, racist, doucheist, etc. but where's the connection to Huff?

This Looman is a PoS, but don't resort to guilt-by-association stereotyping like is practiced by RW propagandists. If you have proof more than belonging to some group on facebook, I'd like to see it. Do you also realize that before recent FB changes, people could add you to groups w/o your approval? It was up to you to remove yourself. I would get annoyed if my friends added me to groups. Why not ask me first? I'm not saying Looman doesn't have real connections to these hardcore treasonists. I'm just saying how many of your FB friends are actually real friends? I for one have a much lower standard for whom I consider a friend on FB as opposed to an actual friend. The two are rarely synonymous.

With all apologies to Bill, Examiner.com is an overgrown blogging platform that is often mistaken as a news site.  I'm sure that there are people that do amazing work there, just as there are amazing bloggers at Daily Kos, but Examiner.com is not a news site and should not be treated or cited as such; it's simply an alarmingly successful content farm.

Having said that, I would be completely unsurprised to learn that this guy is in fact as nutty as you report.

Examiner.com is not a news site.  Good starting point but you quickly lost your way. It's not wise to accept what the official news outlets distribute anymore.  I stopped accepting it when they stopped doing the job of journalism. Smart people must inform themselves now.  Select a variety of sources and make sure "non-traditional" news is represented.  Use critical analysis to weigh every bit.  Some of us are still 'receiving' the old way.  Conservative, liberal, doesn't matter.  They all have the same reaction when they encounter something different than what they've been told.  It's easier to allow "news" sources to fill your head.  Some people don't have the intellect to evaluate what they're consuming.  They'd be lost if they had to decide what to accept and what to discard.  Those people can stick with "news" sources and pretend that it's accurate.  You can only say what you did if you have no idea how to consume "news" without being force fed.  To get to the point, it's insulting for you to caution others. Try saying something like, "this doesn't pass muster for me. and here's where I have doubt."  It's more honest and truthful which is what it's all about.

I don't know Bill Schmalfeldt.  I never heard of him until someone sent me a recent article he wrote last week.   I wouldn't have cited his work in my diary, if I hadn't checked it carefully.  I used reasonable judgment and professional ethics to validate that what Bill wrote was truthful.  There's integrity in his work.  Your comment lacks integrity.  Fox is known for its unsubstantiated “people are saying” non-journalism. Bill’s work is thorough. He’s meticulous as he connects the dots like a forensics expert.  That’s not what they do at Fox at all.   Where is your own integrity and credibility when you state your conclusion about the subject, Looman, in the first words of your comment and then complain that there’s not enough substantiation or attribution for such a conclusion.  You owe Bill an apology.
